The Atrium Palace Resort Hotel, located in Kalathos Beach, near the historic town of Lindos, was first opened in 1992. Situated only a few hundred meters from the beautiful pebbly beach, on the idyllic east coast of Rhodes island, facing the rising sun. It is close to Kalathos town, about 5 km from Lindos and only 42 km from the city of Rhodes. The hotel derived its name from an impressive internal courtyard or atrium, featuring an attractive water-garden with lakes and waterfalls. The hotel has been imaginatively designed by its architect owners, incorporating features reflecting the influence of the many civilizations which have occupied Rhodes, not only the ancient Greeks and Romans but also the Byzantines, the Crusaders and the Italians.
